Burnham Park is the most famous park in Baguio City. This place is known for its man-made lake where designed boats are for rent. Visitors love to ride those colorful boats while their eyes can see the beautiful scenery surrounding this artificial lake. Endless picture taking are everywhere catching every delightful moments. But I am not sure if we can also catch the fishes down below. I was not able to check if fishing is allowed. Haha!!
I always dreamed of roaming around this park on a bike but I always end us strolling around because of the crowd. I am not good in driving and I may end up being injured. But then I will not be this intimate with these flowers if I were on a bike. Maybe one day I can come back again and with less crowd I can explore this park again while riding a bike.
The lake is also crowded so we decided not to ride on those little boats again. We done it before but the weather is not as nice and as clear as this one. It was drizzling that time and the fog is making it worst. But it did not stop us from wandering around and sailing on this lake.
There are restaurants inside Burnham Park and we decided to just pick one that is serving Filipino food. The chop suey in Baguio City is the best regardless of the restaurant. We all agree that this is because of the fresh vegetables grown near the area. Of course, the cool weather is also a factor.
There are also food stalls inside the park where you can find budget meals. Aside from the food, silver jewelry were also sold along the side walks especially at night. Souvenir items and other food delicacies were also on display.
"Loving God with all your heart and mind enables you to love someone with all your strength and soul. This is because loving God is the key of loving others."
